Cancellation by the guest
Cancellation is free of charge up to 72 hours before the scheduled departure time. Cancellations made less than 72 hours in advance may not be refundable. Send cancellation requests to madeiraprivatecharter@gmail.com or call/WhatsApp +351 915 000 659, stating the guest name, booking reference and date.
Cancellation by the operator and sea conditions
If sea, weather or safety conditions prevent departure, rescheduling to a new date, subject to availability, is the primary option. The skipper has the final safety decision. If rescheduling is not possible, Madeira Charter will assess the solution applicable to the booking.
Retard et absence
Le point et l'heure de rendez-vous sont confirmés dans la réservation. Les retards dépassant la période de grâce communiquée peuvent être traités comme une absence.
Report et crédit
Le report est soumis à disponibilité et doit être demandé avec un préavis suffisant. Les crédits émis par l'opérateur ont une durée de validité indiquée dans la communication d'accompagnement.
Special dates and events
High-demand dates such as the Atlantic Festival or New Year's Eve may carry specific cancellation conditions due to fixed schedules and maritime constraints. Those conditions are shown before payment and take precedence over the general rule.
Skipper's final decision
The skipper has final authority over departure. If conditions deteriorate after the experience has begun, the skipper may interrupt the tour for safety reasons. In that case, the operator will communicate the applicable options proportionally to the time of experience completed.
